We are here Chelsea university of the arts London. SW1P 4JU. Situated in the heart of London. The city of westminister One of the 14 boroughs that makes up inner London. London as you all probally know by now is a city of contrasts and is made up of so many different neighbourhoods, each one usually having a nice area and a not so nice area. So even in the 'worst' areas there are good parts and not so good parts. I know I cant only blame youth of today and anti social behaviour, but I belive it plays a big part in making the enviroment what it is today. Whilst I travel to and from uni I pass through three boroughs with some of the worst crime rates in london. The most crime rideen borough, stated by www.stormfront.com, was southwark with Hackney Newham, Waltham Forest,Westminster closely followed by lameth. My journey consists traveling through Southwark, Lambeth then into Westminster. I also know a majority of us travel into and through these boroughs to reach our place of study everyday. Because I have lived in London my whole life and in not particailly nice areas. The nice is over shadowed but the not so nice and it has really started to get me down. I wanted to show you some of the sights I see traveling to and from university everyday.
Is it just me or is London shit is a personal project I started last year where I went out into my surrounding eniviroments and decided no one else was making it better so I would make it better for myself. I decided to collect things from the streets, made them pretty and put them back.
We are here, we study here, travel here, socialize here, we are just here. I no its not a huge difference but it makes me smile.

EVALUATION
For completing this project i feel that I have overcome the fear of the 1st presentation especially in front of new tutors. I learnt that every project is worth doing well. I feel that I should of made my presentation into more of an art piece rather than a standard presentation. If I was going to do it again I would have took time to figure out how to present in other programmes and moved away from something I already know (powerpoint). I also would not forget my words because I let the pressure build and i will not take so long in choosing a topic and hopefully deal with a broad brief better.
Talking in front of the class after such a long period away from university made the idea of speaking in front of everyone again scary. I felt nervous. But i found it easy to talk and gather information about a topic I was passionate and knew a lot about. The feedback was helpful because it reminded not to use any material that is not relevent. Everything should be used for a reason.
